Skilling and capacity building is the prime objective of CEHSI which aims to evolve as a leading institution to assess and create skill development ecosystem in India and other countries to make horticulture business productive and profitable to all strata of farmers. India's economy needs a steady supply of skilled workers to boost productivity and sustain growth momentum. The pace of learning in a country is critical to economic success. TRAINING OF TRAINERS (ToT)
TOT (Training of Trainers) wherein a large pool of trainers aims to be developed for different categories of stakeholders like institutions, organizations, nurseries, corporate, and public sectors. These TOTs will be conducted for various stakeholders like the corporates, farmers at the ground level, and public sectors further to create community resource persons at village or cluster levels to make horticulture more productive. Horticulture Training will disseminate knowledge and awareness to develop horticulture entrepreneurs by imparting hands-on training to progressive horticulture farmers and budding entrepreneurs in horticulture practices. These will be conducted as horticulture entrepreneurship development programs in collaboration with progressive farms, demo-farms, and technology companies.
