The Centre of Excellence for Horticulture Skills in India (CEHSI) is an institution working with all stakeholders across horticulture ecosystem, including the State & central horticulture departments, Horticulture institutions, Corporates, Nurseries, FPOs, Individual Farmers, Students, etc.
Skill Development and Capacity Building
- Skill training of farmers, companies, developmental institutions, farmer’s clubs, FPOs, and corporate leaders in the latest horticulture technologies and equipment.
- Improving the global competitiveness of India in the horticulture sector by investing in capacity building initiatives and skill development.
- Enhancing on and off-farm productivity through the introduction, showcasing, and dissemination of global and Indian best horticultural practices on skilling of youth and farmers in current and emerging trends in the horticulture sector.

- Undertake exercises to assess skilling requirements of stakeholders in horticulture ecosystem at various levels

- Undertake planning, evaluation and implementation of strategies for improvement in the horticulture sector across geographies in partnership.
